Inclusion: Recognising and respecting individual needs
We are an inclusive school which welcomes children regardless of age, gender, attainment or individual need. We welcome children from all over the world, with different experiences and cultures.
The school has a highly skilled Inclusion Team who are able to provide support for children and parents. The team are able to work with individuals or groups of children to develop their social, emotional and behavioural needs. As a school we work in partnership with other agencies such as the Learning Support Service, Education Psychology Service, Community CAMHS, Speech and Language and the Ethnic Minority Achievement Services. Together we aim to help all children reach their full potential and promote success, confidence and self esteem.
Children who are identified as gifted and talented are provided with opportunities to extend their knowledge and skills. In recent years a number of our pupils have been successful at gaining places and scholarships at leading independent schools within the area.
