West Blatchington Primary and Nursery School

I am delighted that my first headship is at West Blatchington Primary and Nursery School - a place extremely close to my heart. A place that feels like home! I have loved every minute of my ten years at our school; as a class teacher, a senior leader and now the Headteacher. I am extremely proud of what we have achieved as a team at West Blatch and I remain determined to ensure that our school successfully builds upon its ‘Good’ Ofsted judgement. I can assure you that our school will continue to provide the best possible education, outcomes and experiences for your children. I am passionate about providing our children with a world class education - all of them - regardless of any barriers they face! I will never settle for anything less because your children deserve the absolute best and I will do everything in my power to deliver that! I want to help create a school, working closely with our amazing staff team, that your children are desperate to attend - a place they feel safe and happy, excited and enthralled! A school they can proudly call their own!

I believe strongly in our school’s mantra ‘Aiming high, Nurturing all’, and this sits firmly at the heart of everything I do. I know the school inside out and back to front-having taught the majority of children in KS2! I understand what our school needs to do to further improve and I firmly believe, with the help and support of our children, parents, staff and governors, we can make West Blatch the best school in the city.
